To advance the public’s appreciation of the arts by:
- Providing a public arts centre for the presentation and performance of visual arts and productions, film, music, literature and other artistic forms
- Providing a forum for qualified artists to exhibit, present, or perform
- Providing a venue for public gatherings, meetings, discussion and events related to the arts with the artists and residents of the greater Hamilton community
- Producing high-quality public performances and productions of film, music, literature, art and other artistic forms
