Ali Hassan is a Stand-up Comic, Actor and CBC Personality.Ali is the host of the CBC Radio hit stand-up comedy show Laugh Out Loud – which also airs across North America on SiriusXM. Ali is also heard on CBC Radio, NPR, and PRX as a frequent guest-host of the arts and culture show ‘q’, and As It Happens, and for the past five consecutive years, Ali has hosted Canada Reads – the annual battle of the books celebrating the best of Canadian literature.

As a comedian, Ali has performed for audiences across Canada and internationally.

Among his numerous Film & TV credits, he was recently in the films MySpy and Tammy’s Always Dying, and appeared in the latest seasons of Working Momsand Murdoch Mysteries.  Television audiences can also see Ali in January as a recurring guest star on the new CBC show, Run The Burbs.

Patrick Coppolino has been touring comedy clubs and theatres across North America with his no-holds-barred routine and storytelling for the last ten years. Patrick has appeared on JFL42, CBC, MTV Canada, and SiriusXM as well as a self-produced comedy special ‘Too Much Information’.


Alice Rose is a transgender comic fueled by third-wave coffee and estradiol. A storyteller at heart, Alice combines introspective personal narratives with larger observations to create an intimate comedy experience. Alice’s career highlights include having opened for Colin Mochrie and Elvira Kurt, and producing Gender Outlaws, a showcase of trans/nonbinary/gender-nonconforming comedians for JFL42. She has performed in the Guelph Comedy Festival, has competed in Comedian of the North, and was recently nominated for an I Heart Jokes award. She recently returned from hosting North Bay Pride, with Serena Ryder, Priyanka, and Tynomi Banks.

Alice is also the founder of Comic Sans Productions, Canada’s first and only production company and comedy talent agency to promote exclusively LGBTQ+ performance artists. She is the creator of many of the shows on the Comic Sans lineup, including The Breakout Room (virtual competition show), Charisma Mod (a queer-led Dungeons and Dragons live-play podcast), and Rainbow Roast (an LGBTQ+ themed comedy roast series).


Jimmy England was a Rising Star finalist at the Brantford Comedy Festival. He didn’t win. He was a two-time finalist at the Go Yuk Yourself competition. He didn’t win. His family doesn’t think he’s funny either – but audiences of all ages love his wry takes on getting old and aging gracefully. On a personal level he shows no sign of doing either.

Bob Kerr has written and performed for hit television comedy shows such as This Hour Has 22 Minutes, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, Comedy
Inc., The Nikki Payne Funtime Show, Hotbox, and Satisfaction to name a few.  Recently, he co-created a web series entitled “But I’m Chris
Jericho”, of which he won a Canadian Comedy Award for Best Writing In A Web Series for his script, “Acting Class.” Bob has also won a
Canadian Screen Award and a Canadian Comedy Award for Best Writing in a Variety or Sketch Comedy Program or Series for his work
on This Hour Has 22 Minutes. Bob is the only one in his friend circle that still watches Survivor.

Comedy Night at The Westdale is a full capacity event.  We are selling all 345 seats in compliance with the updated capacity regulations set forth by the Government of Ontario.  The requirement for two meters of physical distancing is also removed.
