Join us for a FREE watch party of the 98th Annual Academy Awards!

Watch the most exciting night in Hollywood on the big screen in our glorious Art Deco theatre. Dress to impress in red-carpet fashion or inspired by your favourite nominated movie. Everyone is welcome, so dressing up is optional.

Hosted by Lyla Miklos, this Oscar party will have everything: drinks, theatre snacks, trivia, prizes, a best-dressed contest, a photobooth, an excellent old-fashioned Oscar prediction pool, and of course, a live screening of the awards!

Doors open at 5:30pm, and The Oscars start at 7:00pm. So come early and fill out your predictions ballot, enjoy a cocktail, watch the red carpet and show off your look. The best-dressed contest will be judged at 6:30pm, and we are looking for red carpet looks or costumes that are inspired by your favourite nominated films – think Marty from Marty Supreme, or a look inspired by Sinners!

Make sure to bring your prediction ballot with you on Oscar night. We will have extra copies at the door. A $5 entry fee per person is to be paid at the door if you’d like to participate. The person with the most correct predictions will win a FREE Cinephile pass – free movies and popcorn for a year!

LYLA MIKLOS is an award-winning queer feminist activist, broadcast journalist, community organizer, education worker, publicist, vocalist and writer.
